Trend Contracting & Project Management Inc., led by David Generali, completed an addition and full basement renovation for us at our home in the Annex. While David had been highly recommended to us, he and his team significantly surpassed our expectations in all aspects of the project.
First, we are very pleased with the quality of David’s workmanship. Especially now having lived with the renovation for a couple of months, we continue to be thrilled with the attention to detail that David took in its construction. This is especially true with regards to blending the new addition with our existing kitchen. Many of our friends have also remarked on the quality of workmanship including those who have recently had renovations and custom homes built themselves.
Second, David’s management of the construction process itself also exceeded our expectations. We started the project with a detailed critical path and found throughout the renovation that his time management and communication with both of us were excellent. He always kept us abreast of developments as they happened and, importantly, provided us with recommendations and options on how to proceed. David clearly understood our vision for the renovation and our priorities. On several occasions, he made recommendations that made for better results and at a cheaper cost. With our two small children at home throughout the renovation, we also appreciated David’s focus on ensuring that the highest safety standards were maintained and that there was careful clean up daily throughout the renovation. Needless to say, David finished on time and on budget, but it was his management of the process and valued counsel for which we are particularly grateful.
In summary, and without reservation, we would highly recommend David—in fact, have already done so to family and friends. As well, we have already discussed future projects with David—repeat business is, after all, the best testament to client satisfaction.
